Throughout the year, students at Hamel Dance Academy have the opportunity to perform in a winter and spring performance. In February, the students use this opportunity to showcase their works-in-progress during the winter presentation. Using a thematic approach to choosing music and choreography, students learn to merge their technical skills with their artistic talents. During the spring performance, students exhibit a more polished approach to their presentation. Tasteful, age-appropriate costuming colorfully highlights this exciting night for the students. The average performance running time is about one hour to one hour and fifteen minutes. Admission is free for all family and friends. Each student pays a flat nominal recital fee that defrays the cost of facility and costume rental.
